CREEP ACROSS THE CONTINENT
Hot on
the release of their debut EP, I-X-U (reviewed on page 16), Toronto and
Wavelength's own The Creeping Nobodies head out on a month-long tour that
will see them hit both coasts of our great nation, as well as cutting
through the United States for select gigs. The Nobodies' local release
party and tour kickoff show coincides with that of another expansive Toronto
collective - they open for Do Make Say Think, who release their new full-length,
& yet & yet (Constellation Records) at Lee's Palace on Thursday, April

NEW
m@b FOR YOU AND ME
The release party for the new m@b comic, You're looking good these
days, will be held at Clinton's on Saturday, April 6. Musical guests will
be a three-piece outfit (sans drummer) called Royal Wood and solo story-song-teller
Jack Breakfast while DJ Soundscapes Girl provides music for those semi-lucid
moments experienced only in the wee hours of the morning.

DUDE
Sweet Treat Tuesdays continue at the Victory Cafe (581 Markham
St.). Blackeyes will be playing each week in April with a veritable avalanche
of other great acts over the month. The schedule includes Petunia, Alex
Lukashevsky and Eugene Lenin-Slonimerov (Apr. 9), Doug Norquay, Corin
Raymond and Claire Jenkins (Apr. 16), Ghost Town and The Fabulous Mr.
Muli (Apr. 23), and The Fembots and Jim Guthrie (Apr. 30).
